This is YNPN Atlanta’s capstone event where young professionals have the opportunity to connect and learn from Metro Atlanta nonprofit and philanthropic leaders. Our goal is to continue developing the next generation of leaders, showcasing and celebrating diverse pathways to success. This years theme is In a Sea of Opportunity: How to Make Your Mark and Make it Happen!
This event is for you if you are interested in:
- Nonprofit work
- Corporate Social Responsibility
- Starting your own nonprofit
- Nonprofit Board Experience
- Government Roles and Legislative Work
- Leadership organizations to join
The event will include a light breakfast, a keynote speaker, and small group time where you can learn from a Metro Atlanta nonprofit or philanthropic leader at your table. During the event you will be able to hear from this year's keynote speaker, Jill Savitt.
Jill Savitt, President and CEO of the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, is a distinguished human rights advocate specializing in genocide and atrocity prevention. With a career spanning over three decades, she has led initiatives at renowned institutions such as the US Holocaust Memorial Museum and Human Rights First, where she developed a campaign that recruited retired military leaders to bring US policies on torture and interrogation into compliance with US and international law.
YNPN Atlanta was founded in 2011 to provide social and networking events alongside professional development to help Atlanta’s emerging nonprofit professionals grow and thrive in their careers. We strive to move the needle of success for over 1,100 young professionals in the Metro Atlanta area who aspire to be leaders in the nonprofit sector. This event is open to both members and individuals who want to learn more about the organization.
