The Ann Cramer Civic Leadership Award is a prestigious and highly selective honor for a young person(s) who have demonstrated parallel qualities that Ann has provided: community commitment and impact. Sydney was chosen for this award for her demonstration of what Ann has described as “connection of the hands, head, and heart” in our Metro Atlanta community. 

About the Award

Ann Cramer is a philanthropist that has dedicated her life to serving the Atlanta community. Ann has been a huge supporter of YNPN Atlanta throughout the years by serving as a keynote speaker and table hosts for the annual NextGen Breakfast and becoming a trusted adviser to the organization.

The Ann Cramer Civic Leadership Award is a prestigious and highly selective honor for a young person(s) who have demonstrated parallel qualities that Ann has provided: community commitment and impact. Recipient(s) will be selected by fellow community leaders who have supported Ann over the years. Our selection committee includes senior leaders from:

  • Atlanta Pride
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta
  • Corporate Volunteer Council
  • Georgia Center for Nonprofits
  • Habitat for Humanity International
  • Hands on Atlanta

  • United Way

 

Recipients of the Ann Cramer Civic Leadership Award will be selected based on the following criteria:

  • Serves and resides in Metro Atlanta
  • Demonstrated large scale impact to improve the well-being of the Metro-Atlanta community
  • Candidates should demonstrate the connection of hands, heart and head, through supporting service and being in collaboration to address systemic needs within the Metro Atlanta community
  • Address intersectional issues and collaborated with others to make significant progress
  • Self-Identifies as a young professional
  • Available to attend an evening reception honoring awardee

Honoree will be:

  • Honored on February 23, 2024 at an intimate reception surrounded by community leaders.
  • Recognized plaque
  • Recognition on all YNPN Atlanta channels
  • Complimentary YNPN Atlanta membership for a year
  • Complimentary ticket to YNPN Atlanta's annual NextGen Breakfast
